It’s dinnertime. You’re hungry and asking that most important question: Where’s the beef? Lisa and Kevin Brooke just might have the answer. We understand the concerns of how your meat is raised. If you’re searching for succulent, healthy all-natural beef, look no further. The MM Beef Company sells fresh meat right off the home ranch.
We believe in raising cattle responsibly. We’re serious about all-natural beef. Our cattle receive no antibiotics or hormones. We believe in raising cattle naturally on our MM Matovich Ranch.
The commitment to quality begins with our participation in the Global Animal Partnership (GAP). Animals are humanely treated without rough handling or growth hormones. Auditors inspect the ranch to make sure we’re following the GAP’s strict management standards. It’s work but we think it’s worth it.
So, we have GAP cattle. And no—they don’t wear sleek bedazzled denim of the GAP store in the mall. Our cattle are sold to Whole Foods and markets in Asia and Europe. They seem to like our beef. We’d like to think you would too.
The herd spends their life on our ranch near Grass Range where Lisa grew up. It’s a beautiful ranch where the deer, antelope – and cows – really do play. We’re a little biased –we love the rolling pastures nestled in the foothills of the Little Snowy Mountains of Montana. We have a deep connection to the land and cattle
What about us?
Lisa grew up enjoying the cows, her cats, and horses and playing sports. She headed to Billings for college and a career as a counselor. Lisa loves traveling, reading and following daughters Olivia and Lily. What’s most interesting about Kevin? His wife…really. He grew up chasing sheep and cattle on a ranch near Pony, Montana, became a journalist and found his way to the high school classroom. The family splits their time between Billings and Grass Range.
We’re proud of the ranch and our beef that is affordable, tasty and raised with care.
